Introducing Our SME Learning Expedition: A New Pathway for Small & Mid-Sized Organisations

SME leaders in a small-group learning session, reflecting and collaborating as part of a guided learning expedition.

At Learning Expedition, we’ve spent the past decade designing small, curated leadership journeys for executives across Asia, Europe, and beyond. These programs have taken leaders into new markets, connected them with innovators, and helped them translate insight into action. As LEX has grown into a dedicated platform for enterprise and public-sector learning, one question kept resurfacing:

Why don’t SMEs have access to the same level of exposure and strategic clarity?

SMEs face many of the same pressures as large organisations – digital disruption, shifting customer expectations, rapid market change – but often without the resources or support that bigger companies have.

And yet, as we’ve seen, SMEs are where agility, creativity, and transformation can happen fastest.

So we built something for them.

Introducing the SME Learning Expedition

Our new SME Learning Expedition is a short, high-impact programme designed to give smaller organisations the same depth of experience we’ve traditionally delivered to senior leaders. Led by Dr. Francis Goh, a seasoned transformation expert with over 25 years of leadership, advisory and strategy experience at Amazon, Microsoft, SAP, and HP, the program focuses on three pillars:

  1. Exposure to innovative companies, founders, and business models

  2. Inspiration through guided reflection and cross-industry insight

  3. Activation with a 30/60/90-day roadmap to drive real implementation

It’s practical. It’s accessible. And it’s built for the realities of SME life — where clarity and action matter more than complexity.

The SME Learning Expedition is now open to organisations looking to step outside their day-to-day, gain fresh perspective, and return with a clear sense of direction.
